[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”5453″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]As the Girl Scout cookie season has begun, Trusting Connections is excited to be hosting our 3rd Annual Girl Scouts Event! We support and hope to inspire girls and young women to believe that being a successful entrepreneur is a real possibility.
Co-Founders Rosalind Prather and Caroline Wesnitzer have promised to purchase cookies from every girl scout who stops by our office on Friday, February 9th between 3:30 pm and 5:30 p.m. In the spirit of the educational purpose of this event, each girl must give a brief sales pitch before being invited to draw from a jar that will indicate how many boxes our agency will purchase—from one to up to 25 boxes. The event was deemed a success in the past in terms of attendance, sales and providing great mentorship for the girls. The last box will be purchased at 5:30 p.m. There will also be a special arts & crafts activity, snack and refreshments and exciting raffle prizes!
And this year, all participants will also have the opportunity to sell cookies to another female business owner- Allison Duffy of Silverado Technologies!
The Girl Scouts cookie program is the largest girl-led business program in the world, with more than half the money raised going towards volunteer training, leadership events, and programs to provide and teach girls important skills. To learn more about the program, click here.
