Families that prefer a “do-it-yourself” approach to hiring a nanny or other household professional may still want to consider relying on the resources and expertise that our agency can provide for nanny screening or Work Agreement consulting. All of the following nanny screening services are included in our placement packages but they may also be purchased a la carte for families who have found a nanny on their own. Taken by both the family and the candidate, our exclusive personality and compatibility testing process, helps a family determine if a candidate is truly a “good fit.”
Extensive Agency Interview

With candidate, via Zoom, approx. one hour; includes phone consultation with parents to discuss interview question responses/analysis.
Background Investigation

Conducted by a licensed private investigator, results emailed. This detailed criminal history report also includes a motor vehicle check.
Care Camp Training
$175
If you’ve recently hired a nanny, put him or her through our exclusive TC training program where your new hire will learn how to provide exceptional care for your family. Training includes a safety course and a child development + play course. This is a great way to help your nanny provide better care for your family.
Work Agreement Consulting
$85/hour
Our Care Director will give you the tools to help you and your nanny draft a Work Agreement. This important document lays the foundation for a successful relationship. We will provide expert advice regarding industry standards and what topics you should cover in your contract. We will then present your offer to the nanny you have hired on your behalf.
Reference Checks
$85
Our extensive reference calls are conducted by an agency representative and information is gathered on a candidate from families or other previous employers. Calls are rated exceptional, good, average or poor and analyzed for inconsistencies and the validity of the reference is also verified. Price includes 3-5 calls conducted.
Document Verification
$65
We will check and confirm the candidate’s driver’s license, car registration and insurance, work eligibility status, CPR/First aid certification, education/certification verification and vaccination proof and more. You will will receive an electronic folder with all documentation provided and verified.
Core Care Competencies Exam

This TC exclusive test, gives you insight into a candidates’ knowledge of nanny-related child care skills, child development, etc. An Infant -Care Exam is also available. We will provide you with the candidate’s answers to each question and an overall score.
5-panel Drug Test
$45
Coordinated with locally contracted Drug Testing facilities. Results typically available within 1-business day. Candidate must sign consent form.
TB Test
