We Place + Hire Only the Best

All applicants must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for a position through our agency: We don’t simply place caregivers—we carefully select professionals who embody the trust, excellence, and genuine care that families deserve.

Every caregiver who joins Trusting Connections is evaluated not only for experience and qualifications, but for character, professionalism, and alignment with our standards of exceptional care.

Qualifications For Hire Or Placement

18 years or older
At least a high school diploma (or GED)
At least 1 year relevant experience for Sitter Service; 3 years for Placement
Legally able to work in the U.S
Access to reliable transportation with current vehicle registration/insurance and clean driving record
An “Exceptional” rating on at least two professional references
Pass Phone and Virtual Interview
CPR/First Aid Certification (Adult, Child and Infant)
Pass Comprehensive Background
Investigation conducted by Private Detective
Document Verification: Driver’s License, Social Security Card/Passport, Educational Certifications
Pass 5-Panel Drug Test
Complete TC’s Onboarding Training Program
Exhibit Integrity & Passion for Caregiving
Work history that shows longevity in past positions

Our Standards In Action

All caregivers are required to complete our “Expectations for Excellence” training course as part of the onboarding process. In this course we cover what makes a caregiver truly exceptional and the standard of care that we expect our Sitter Services employees and Placement Candidates to provide. Candidates must pass a test on the content in order to be considered for positions offered through our agency.
