Schedule: The schedule varies week to week based on the parents’ work schedules, with advance notice provided. A typical week may look like Monday 8 AM–6 PM, Tuesday 8 AM–6 PM, Wednesday 7 AM–6 PM, and Thursday–Friday 8 AM–6 PM. Flexibility for occasional longer days is appreciated. Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
Compensation: Up to $35/hour, depending on experience. Overtime at 1.5x the regular rate for hours worked over 40 per week, six paid federal holidays, healthcare, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.

Key Responsibilities
Childcare & Development
- Provide loving, developmentally appropriate care and engaging, screen-free activities.
- Plan creative experiences, reading, outdoor play, and age-appropriate learning.
- Maintain consistent routines, including meals and naps.
- Drive to preschool and activities, including gymnastics and swim lessons.
- Encourage independence, emotional intelligence, and age-appropriate life skills.
- Prepare fresh, healthy meals and snacks for the child.
- Communicate regularly with parents about daily activities and developmental progress.
Household Management
- Keep the child’s bedroom, play areas, and shared spaces tidy and organized.
- Complete child-related laundry and rotate toys and books.
- Restock the child’s food and household essentials as needed.
- Prepare simple family meals and help maintain an orderly home.
- Involve the child in age-appropriate cleanup and organization.
Ideal Candidate
- 2–5 years of professional nanny experience, including preschool-aged children.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Excellent communication, sound judgment, and strong organizational skills.
- Mature, proactive, dependable, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable driving the child to school and activities.
- Comfortable working around dogs.
- Spanish-speaking ability or Montessori experience is a plus.
The family has vaccination preferences, including Tdap, flu, MMR, chickenpox, and Hepatitis A/B.
