Building a business requires courage, confidence, and community support qualities that are best cultivated early in life. As a female-founded household staffing agency, co-founders Rosalind Prather and Caroline Wesnitzer launched Trusting Connections with a clear understanding that early mentorship and real-world encouragement make a lasting impact on young women finding their voice.
Tucson Local Media highlighted our annual Girl Scout Cookie Buying Event, an initiative held in Tucson to support local Girl Scouts across Southern Arizona. Beyond purchasing cookies, our goal is to provide a supportive, real-world platform where young girls can practice business communication, financial literacy, and leadership skills. During the event, participating scouts deliver a brief sales pitch to our team and local female business partners before drawing from a jar that determines how many boxes our agency purchases—ranging anywhere from 1 to 25 boxes per scout.
We believe that fostering confidence and business acumen in young girls creates stronger, more resilient leaders for our communities tomorrow. By pairing practical business experience with genuine encouragement, we aim to inspire other local business leaders to actively invest in the success of young go-getters.
