When it comes to the care your family receives, quality shouldn’t be compromised. We recognize the challenges families face when it comes to finding quality care. The in-home child care industry lacks regulation–anyone can call themselves a nanny. As members of the International Nanny Association, we are committed to professionalizing the nanny industry and connecting families and qualified caregivers in a way that is safer for both parties. Our rigorous screening process and extensive requirements for hire reflects this endeavor. Read more about our standards below.
Qualifications for Hire
The following requirements must be met before a candidates’ application will be considered:
- 18 years or older
- At least a high school diploma
- At least two years professional child care experience*
- Citizen of U.S. or legally able to work in the U.S
- Access to reliable transporation with current vehicle registration/insurance and clean driving record
- At least three professional references
- Demonstrate knowledge of child care and development
The following requirements must be met during the hiring process:
- Pass phone and in-person interview
- Become CPR/First Aid Certified (Adult, Child and Infant)
- Document Verification
- Complete Sex Abuse Awareness Training
- Pass 5-Panel Drug Test
